Before and After… Hopefully. Err.

Saturday, September 30th, 2006

Went out to town today with lotsa people. Tried unicycling at the square, but could only make one paddle with help before falling over. :D Gonna learn properly over the next week though.

Cut my hair and bought dye, so I will dye my entire hair for the first time O_O

Before picture: (not cut, not dyed. And getting my nose pinched.)

After picture may come tonight, if I don’t end up looking like a carrot again!

Yaharr! MARIO KART!

I love weekend.

Photshop anyone?

I am scanning A3 pictures with an A4 scanner. It turns out crap because the pictures are in two parts. You can see the line clearly. How do you deal with this?

Today I was both praised and picked on.

Very tiring day which ended with all my limbs aching. Especially my wrists and shoulders. I have a feeling they are being a bit over stressed. … Not only just a bit. Quite a feckin’ lot.

Went in with the earliest bus even though my first class was at 2:30. Got some work done at the Library as usual and finished painting a little picture of my comic crew. It’s A3 so I’m not sure how to scan it without making it look horrid. (My scanner is A4) If it was black and White pure ink, it would’ve been easier, but colour! This may prove to become a problem in the future as I work on mostly A3 nowadays and need to scan my images to get them on my homepage. Eeeeep. o_o

While I was painting this, I had two guys oogling over my shoulders in absolute silence. It took a while for me to actually notice them :P When I did, I scared them off with a friendly “Oh! Hello!”.

Had our second life drawing class today. Fun! I love drawing nekkid people! Extremely hard though.

Also been made fun of for being Swedish and my strange accent. Now THAT’S a first. I don’t take it too hard though. I just observe for how long these two things can entertain 18 year old boys. There’s this one guy, who I can’t remember the name of for the life of me, who kind of eggs the others on. Whenever he’s around, people get transformed into bouncing monkeys. He reminds me of one of my ex classmates in Sweden :P

Man I’m tired.

My birthday is on Monday. I’m gonna be old.

Oh! And the house thing is final. We STAY here. Matt moves out. We get the place for ourselves for the duration of the contract. No more stress with house.

Amusing comments and a very amusing evening, in a sad way.

With no headphones working, I cannot listen to music during the days anymore and thus I hear all conversations going on in the studio. It is actually quite entertaining. You get to hear about peoples thoughts, future plans, way of living etc. I will just take one quote from yesterday that made me raise an eyebrow.

“I don’t want to draw! I want to go shopping!”

… What the hell are you doing at an art course woman? :D
By now, I’m starting to see people dropping out or getting late. I have also found out that some of my friends will take new courses by the end of this one, so I might not see them again. :/

I have been nominated “JenJen, THE GUN” by Kez and El. Apparently I’m the gunslinger of the group (wtf?). Oh well. They’re amazingly cute both of them. :D

I came home yesterday from a looooooooong day at Uni and just quickly grabbed some food to eat. I was planning to go to the comic forum. What happened next was something incredibly sad and embarrassing.

I fell asleep.

At about… 7 or 8pm.

All this activity is really making me tired when I get home. Need to do something about that.

Oh! And TODAY we will FINALLY know if we’re gonna move or stay. I’m betting on staying. :D

Hot computer room without headphones…

… and boredom strikes.

Waiting for the Photoshop lesson to start so I’m just babbling away really. Got to know about an essay that needs to be written, have two projects to finish in less than three weeks and on top of that need to clean the house, wash everything up, sort everything out, write some paperwork whenever it arrives… Now I know why ‘grownups’ are stressed out of their minds.

It has actually come to the point where I am pondering going to Uni on Saturdays. It doesn’t sound like such a bad idea… Sacrifising one day of my freedom for the cause!

Oh geez.

Well! Looks like our teacher has arrived! Ta ta.

Someone stepped on my headphones.

Now they are making funny noises instead of playing my favourite tunes. This is slightly annoying considering the fact that I need the music everyday to actually get my ass anywhere.

Started one of my specializations at Uni. Graphic Design. This is something entirely new for me, so to put it simply, I suck. It’s fun though. Also had a book binding workshop today, so I know theoretically how to bind my own book, just haven’t tried it yet.

Alright. I’ve got 5 minutes until next class. What can I write about to save my curious dad a phonecall?

Oh yes. the single most important thing in my life. Forgot about that. Where to live. How to live. What to do. To make a very long and complicated story short, I phoned the landlord this morning and told him that we are definitely staying in our current house for the duration of the contract. This means that me and Tom get the house for ourselves when Matt moves in the beginning of October.

We lost the deposit for the other place, but shit happens. At least we’ve got a place to stay together. So I’m quite happy with that. No more worrying! (About fucking time.)

Oh oh. Seems like I’ve got about 3 minutes left.

My feet smell and I need to buy new deodorant. Stuff you wanted to know, right?

Let us take it straight from the heart, shall we!

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

Alright! A deep breath! Then say what is on your mind at this very moment.

My middle name sucks.

There you go. confusing? Well, I will make this blog entry quite short considering the fact that I’m at school and should be studying (naughty of me).

I’ve been to the bank about 4 times now, trying to open a new account. A quote from the assistant helping me “haha~ We will have to get you your own special chair here soon!”

Haha.

Hahahaha.

Fantastically funny. Yes. Well the fact is that I cannot open a bank account today because of my middle name and its position. No. I’m not joking. My middle name “Gun” is in the wrong fucking place on my passport, so I cannot open a bank account.

The reasons as to why I cannot store my Swedish money in the English bank are starting to get more and more bizarre. I am ever so slightly pissed off (I mean geez, I have to correct my spelling mistakes every other second right now!).

Not only is this shit. We are also supposed to move into our new flat in 8 days. IN A WEEK.

Not only is that utter poop. We are also short on money because of the bank situation and I just learned that Tom may not get his job in the end.

So dear blog, life is pretty much showing me its shiny behind at this moment. Everything except University sucks.

Give me more Penn and Teller: Bullshit shows to entertain myself with! I can’t even draw properly because of this mad stress! oh well. I guess we all have to go through this sheit now and then.

Time to study. Over and out.

Arrr! Shiver me timbers!

Ahoy thar me fine log!

When I sat down on th’ bus to rest me weary feet, I was suddenly overhauled by a comely young lad who be askin’ me if I whar one o’ th’ new scurvy dogs ’round. I said “Aye!” an’ we be talkin’ ’bout many a different loot an’ booties before th’ grog-filled laddie went back ta his tunes, leavin’ me marooned. I didn’t hang the jib or anythin’ tho! Me be no landlubber, matey!

Yarrh! What a lovely day!

I like watercolour!
